2.1 To access and use the Services, create an account (a “User Account”) as per Platform requirements.

2.2 You may create a User Account if you are at least 18 years old, provide accurate information during User Account creation, possess a valid email address and password, and consent to communications regarding your User Account and Services.

2.3 By creating a User Account, you permit Folio to verify your identity using third parties and take measures to prevent fraud. We may terminate your User Account if verification is unsatisfactory.

2.4 Protect your User Account information; inform Folio promptly about unauthorized access or use.

2.5 Abide by the outlined practices and ensure a single User Account creation.

3.1 Acknowledge the distinctive risks linked to trading and/or holding Digital Currency. Consider these risks, your financial situation, and risk tolerance before trading or holding digital currency.

3.2 Recognize that the value of Digital Currency is volatile, and its trading and holding involve substantial risk.

3.3 Digital Currency isn’t backed by central banks or governments, and its value can fluctuate due to market factors, investor confidence, regulatory changes, and technical issues.

3.4 Safeguard private keys and addresses related to Digital Currency; losing access results in an irreversible loss.

3.5 Use caution when sharing wallet information; Folio isn’t liable for lost Digital Currency due to incorrect addresses.

3.6 Folio isn’t accountable for misappropriation, loss, or theft of Digital Currency. Security measures are essential when handling Digital Currency.

4.1 Appoint Folio as your agent for purchasing, selling, or exchanging Digital Currency via your User Account.

5.1 Comply with Nigerian laws and avoid activities causing harm to the Platform, Services, or other users.

5.2 Safeguard your User Account information and adhere to responsible Platform usage practices.

5.3 Report vulnerabilities through support requests on our website.

6.1 Purchase Digital Currency via User Account; fees are zero for transactions.

6.2 Exchange rates at transaction time apply; Folio isn’t responsible for rate changes during processing.

6.3 Suspension or cancellation of transactions due to fraud, technical issues, or legal requests is possible.

7.1 Acknowledge risks and exercise due diligence in using the Platform. We provide no express warranties.

7.2 Limitation of liability applies. Folio isn’t liable for special, indirect, or consequential damages.

7.3 Liability cap limits our aggregate liability to twice the transaction value.

7.4 No liability for events beyond our control (force majeure).

8.1 Indemnify us against loss, damage, or liability arising from Platform use, breach of Terms, or submitted information.
